Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Rent Your Dream House, we want to ensure that your booking experience is as smooth and stress-free as possible. If your plans change and you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please review our cancellation and refund guidelines below.
1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 Free Cancellation
You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled check-in time. To cancel, please contact us at sale@rydhouse.com or use the cancellation option in your booking confirmation email.
1.2 Cancellation within 24 Hours of Check-In
If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before the check-in time, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged. This fee is calculated based on the total booking amount.
1.3 No Shows
If you do not show up for your reservation and have not canceled your booking within the allowed cancellation window, the full amount of the booking will be charged, and no refund will be issued.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Refunds for Cancellations Made More than 24 Hours in Advance
If you cancel your booking at least 24 hours prior to check-in, you will receive a full refund for the amount paid, minus any transaction fees if applicable.
2.2 Refunds for Cancellations within 24 Hours of Check-In
For cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in, a 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method.
2.3 Refund Process
Once your cancellation is confirmed, we will process your refund. Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to reflect in your bank account or payment method, depending on your financial institution.
3. Modifications to Bookings
3.1 Changing Dates or Property
If you need to modify your booking (e.g., changing the check-in/check-out dates or switching to a different property), please contact us at sale@rydhouse.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request, depending on availability. If there is a price difference, you will be charged or refunded accordingly.
3.2 Booking Extensions
If you wish to extend your stay beyond the original booking, please contact us before your check-out date. Extensions are subject to availability and may be subject to additional charges.
4. Special Circumstances
4.1 Force Majeure
If your booking needs to be canceled or modified due to unforeseen events beyond your control, such as natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or other emergencies, we will work with you to offer an alternative accommodation or issue a full refund. Please contact us as soon as possible in these situations.
4.2 Health or Safety Concerns
If you are unable to travel due to illness or health-related issues, we recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover such situations. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for cancellations due to illness unless we are able to resell the property for the same dates. In such cases, we will review the situation and consider partial refunds or rescheduling.
