Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the rental properties listed on www.rydhouse.com and any booking or other services provided by Rent Your Dream House ("we," "our," or "us"). By making a reservation, you agree to the following terms:
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 Booking Process: To make a reservation, you must provide the required information, including but not limited to your name, contact details, payment information, and rental dates. A confirmed booking constitutes an agreement between you and Rent Your Dream House.
1.2 Payment: Full payment for your booking must be made at the time of reservation unless otherwise stated. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and other online payment methods. Your booking is confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
1.3 Booking Confirmation: Upon confirmation of your booking, we will send you a confirmation email with your reservation details, including property address, check-in/check-out times, and any special instructions or requirements.
2. Rental Period
2.1 Minimum and Maximum Stay: Our properties are available for short-term rentals, with a minimum stay of 1 day and a maximum stay of 7 days. For bookings exceeding 7 days, please contact us directly at sale@rydhouse.com to arrange a custom rental.
2.2 Check-In and Check-Out: Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is by 11:00 AM. Early check-ins or late check-outs may be possible depending on availability but must be requested in advance.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Free Cancellation: You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled check-in time.
3.2 Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in will incur a 20% cancellation fee based on the total booking amount. The fee will be deducted from your refund.
3.3 No Shows: If you do not show up for your booking and fail to cancel within the allowed timeframe, the full amount of the booking will be charged.
4. Guest Responsibilities
4.1 Property Use: You are responsible for using the property in a manner consistent with its intended use and for following the house rules. You agree to take care of the property during your stay and to return it in the same condition as it was upon check-in.
4.2 Guests and Visitors: Only the registered guests on the booking may stay at the property. If you wish to have additional visitors or guests, prior written approval from us is required.
4.3 Damage and Loss: You are liable for any damage or loss caused to the property or its contents during your stay. In the event of damage or loss, you may be charged additional fees to cover the cost of repairs or replacement.
4.4 Noise and Conduct: Please respect the quiet enjoyment of neighbors and avoid excessive noise or disruptive behavior. If we receive complaints about noise or other disturbances, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without a refund.
4.5 Smoking and Pets: Smoking is prohibited inside all of our properties unless otherwise stated. Pets are allowed in select properties only. Please refer to the individual property details for pet policies. Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning fees.
5. House Rules
Each property has specific house rules, which must be followed during your stay. These will be provided to you before check-in, and you must acknowledge and agree to them upon booking. Failure to adhere to the house rules may result in additional charges or eviction from the property without a refund.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning Services: All our properties are professionally cleaned before your arrival. For stays longer than 7 days, we offer additional cleaning services at an extra charge. For shorter stays, we do not provide mid-stay cleaning unless requested.
6.2 Maintenance Issues: If any maintenance issues arise during your stay, please notify us immediately at sale@rydhouse.com. We will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Limitation of Liability: Rent Your Dream House is not liable for any injury, damage, loss, or theft of property during your stay. By booking with us, you agree to hold Rent Your Dream House harmless for any such incidents. We recommend that you obtain your own travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
7.2 Force Majeure: Rent Your Dream House will not be held responsible for failure to provide the rental property due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer alternative accommodation or a refund as appropriate.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected during the booking process will be used only for the purpose of processing your reservation and improving your experience. We will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Rent Your Dream House reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and they will apply to all future bookings made after the modification date. We encourage you to review this page periodically for updates.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province or territory where the property is located. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
